July 4th, Ride to Dixon Celebration

Postby IronSteedModerator on Thu Jun 04, 2009 11:50 pm

This is an open ride from our shop to Dixon County Fairgrounds to take in the Music, Fun, MC / Car Show, and finally the Fireworks. Ride begins at our shop on July 4. Departure time is still not set. Will update soon.

When, where, what?

Where's the follow up? Sounds like fun, but I'd like to put it on my calendar. Is there going to be food or lunch before hand? What kind of parking on the other end, at Dixon? I don't want to leave my bike in that friggin field across the street, are you going to set up parking inside?

It's be nice to know some specifics.

Ride Times, etc

Postby IronSteedModerator on Fri Jun 12, 2009 6:34 pm

Sorry about running behind on the information.

We plan on shutting the shop down around 3, and that would probably mean riding out of here at about 3:15/3:30. I'd show up by 2 or 2:30 just to have "mingle" time. If we end up doing some sort of BBQ before hand, then by all means, show up much earlier.

I'll find out if there is reserved bike parking, and if we'll have any BBQ going on during the day at our shop.
